What is WITH?

WITH – Women In The Hood is a Women ONLY community currently piloting in Delhi-NCR with headquarters in Gurgaon. We’re here to foster deep camaraderie and an unparalleled sense of belonging among women everywhere.

WITH aspires to

Enable connections with like-minded women in the neighbourhood.
Provide a platform for emotional support, advice, and advocacy.
Facilitate quick dissemination of news, resources, and emergency support.
Elevate the biggest endemic of the 21st century that is loneliness.

We need to make alternate families of small groups of women who support each other, talk to each other regularly, can speak their truths and their experiences and find they’re not alone in them, that other women have them, too. It makes such a huge difference.

About the App

From bringing you comfort food when you are sick, to taking you on new adventures, to finding your fellow traveller in a new city or hooking you up with your next big gig, to introducing you to the best local food in your town or standing up besides you through a tough time, we all get by with a little help from our friends. We’re not a dating app, a friendship app, or a professional networking app. We are best described as a “Solidarity App.”

Seeks general support & social circle while Living Alone in a strange city.

“Oh-SOH-great to be WITH you!”

Meet Sohini, or Soh as we fondly call her, the fearless leader of WITH. Imagine a chai-fueled HER(O) with a passion for supporting women and a knack for being the neighborhood’s go-to person. That’s our Soh for you, and of course, also the creative force behind all our digital, community, and concord magic here.

After 15 years in corporate roles across various industries, Soh decided to bring her passion project to life, using technology to connect and empower women. Once ‘technically challenged,’ she’s now our tech-savvy pioneer.

With Soh at the helm, we’re on a mission to make community living a thriving reality. Welcome to WITH, where technology meets community! So, buckle up, as it’s going to be an amazing ride together.

Women In The Hood is based on the simple premise that what we don’t feel like doing alone, we should be able to find a friend near us to do it WITH. When women come together, support, and empower each other, we can truly create the world we need… together. I hope WITH inspires and proves to be a platform that shall forge greater sisterhood.
